For almost 30 years, IMM has been a partner to this international manufacturer of audio interfaces – from hardware and enclosure development through PCB assembly to manufacturing and final testing.
Starting point
When the collaboration began, both the customer and IMM were considerably smaller. Over the years, both companies have grown and steadily strengthened their market position. Today, the customer is an internationally established manufacturer of audio interfaces whose products are used worldwide by musicians, media companies and in technical applications.
As the company grew, its product portfolio expanded continuously. This called for a partner able to support development and manufacturing over the long term, respond flexibly to new requirements and grow together with the customer.
Our services
For almost 30 years, we have supported the customer in developing and manufacturing its products. We handle hardware development, including circuit and layout design, as well as enclosure design. The software is developed by the customer.
In addition, we manufacture a large part of the product portfolio. This includes PCB assembly, device assembly, testing, final testing and packaging. Together with the customer, we coordinate procurement and forecasting to secure the long-term supply of components.
Result
Many years of collaboration have grown into a close partnership. The products are sold worldwide and are used by musicians, media companies and in technical applications. Close coordination between development, manufacturing and procurement has enabled numerous product generations to be brought to market successfully.
